501(c)3 Organization

We are using food as a catalyst to attract those in a food desert community experiencing food insecurities to our property to not only meet that immediate need of food, but to also provide resources and education that will better help them to cope and eliminate those food insecurities. Dare to Care (DTC) is a community development and services outreach 501(c)3 organization. DTC has served the South Florida community for over 15 years.

Partnering for Progress

Dare to Care is a Partner Agency (PA) with Farm Share, Feeding South Florida, and a Gateway Community Outreach choice pantry where clients can choose the food that they want.  We are an outreach ministry founded by The Faith Center, in Sunrise, Florida.

Donate & Volunteer

Our organization was established to provide help for those in need.

DTC sees about 20-35 volunteers on any given Saturday. Fifty workers are needed to adequately staff the pantry. All volunteers attend monthly training and are provided with their roles & requirements.

Our Food Bank Donors

Each week, we receive food and support from these organizations and our regular donors.
