ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
All candidates must have been admitted to a bachelor’s program (BA or BS with a major in education) at the junior level or higher, enrolled for the Fall 2023 semester, and must submit the following items.

To be nominated for the Evelyn L Fernandez Scholarship, an eligible applicant must do the following:
1) Complete the questionnaire below
2) Submit all required documents (essay, resume, unofficial transcript, and letters of reference)
3) Submit all required documents by 5 PM on Friday, July 7, 2023.
Application packages can be submitted using the following formats:
— Online
— Delivered in-person to The Faith Center, 5555 NW 95th Avenue, Sunrise, FL 33351
— In the mail, addressed as follows – Evelyn L Fernandez Scholarship, 5555 NW 95th Avenue, Sunrise, FL 33351.
Selection:
— The selection of recipients will be conducted by the Evelyn L. Fernandez Scholarship Committee.
— Awards will be determined based on meeting the eligibility requirements, stated career objectives, and the satisfactory completion of a committee interview.
— Scholarship funds will be directed to the winner’s university for application to their account, and not to individuals.
