- Food insecurity is tied to chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
- Approximately 210,540 people in Broward County are facing hunger issues (179,620 of them are children).
- 69% of food bank-assisted households had to choose between food and transportation.
- 63% of senior households are forced to choose between food and medical care.
We provide fresh, healthy produce, dairy, eggs, meat, and canned goods to provide hunger relief to those most affected by food insecurity.
